Vicki Wallace, CRNP
Vicki has been with our practice since June of 2005.  She received her Bachelor of Science from Salisbury State University and her Master of Science from University of Maryland of Nursing.  Prior to joining our team she worked at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC.  Vicki is married and has 2 children.

Stephanie Strazinsky, PA-C
Stephanie has been with our practice since its opening in October of 1994.  She received her Bachelor of Science from St. Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining Virginia Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery she worked in several hospitals in Pennsylvania.  She is the mother of one child.

Karen Crawford PA-C
Karen joined the practice September of 2009. She has practiced as a PA for 15 years, with experience in Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery. Karent earned her BS from James Madison University and received her BS, Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia She is married, and has six children and one granddaughter.

Heather Dickinson, Office Coordinator
Heather joined Virginia Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in August 2009 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Sherwood and our patients. She has been with Mary Washington Healthcare for over 8 years, with 6 years as a Receptionist and Office Coordinator. She is experienced in helping patients with insurance issues in addition to obtaining their authorizations and verifications from insurance carriers. She graduated from Stafford High School in 2003 and continues to take educational courses at Germanna Community College and Nova community College. She enjoys softball and outdoor sporting activities.
